It was inaugurated in 1991 and designed by Seve Ballesteros,which was his first design and it brought Benahavis on the golfing map. Los Arqueros is a challenge for golfers with low and high handicaps.
Its first impression is one of an extremely hilly golf course, but this is not the case, it has steep slopes which call for the use of a buggy to play a little more easily on a golf course.
Since it is purchased by the Taylor Woodrow construction group, heavy investment has been made to improve course conditioning and has removed the punishment of slightly mis-hit shots.
