| This town lies between Torremolinos and Fuengirola forming a chain of the finest costal towns attracting hundreds of tourists. Apart from the trademark beaches; there are amusement parks and golf courses in this region. It also has a Museum containing Neolithic and pre Columbian exhibits. The town is classified into three main areas: Benalmadena Pueblo - the village situated on the mountainside with white washed houses; Arroyo de la Miel - the residential and business area, and Costa Benalmadena - a first class tourist resort.

| The Puerto Marina is the star attraction of the Benalmadena Costa- considered the best by many. It is not just popular with tourists; you will also encounter helpful, friendly locals rambling about here. In the day, families crowd the many restaurants, cafes; and shop for gifts, antiques and souvenirs in the shops. And at night the nightclubs and bars are booming with the latest music and partygoers can dance & dine late into the night. In the center of town, the Parque de la Paloma forms a soothing green belt. It contains a lake with a fountain and a waterfall, landscaped gardens with enclosures for a variety of animals. Quite popular with children as they get to see the animals from up close and also as there are play areas up to date with all the installations. The Tivoli theme park
is another favourite with families for its large fair grounds, rides and performances from top artists. The Sea Life Center is ideal to experience and understand the marine world from entertaining and comfortable surroundings.
